Why can`t I upload to my account?
Troubleshooting Upload Issues
You may occasionally have trouble uploading your images to PIQUO.
Images take forever to upload or never upload
There are many things that can affect your ability to successfully upload images into your PIQUO account. The following suggestions may help:
- Clear your browser`s cache.
- Make sure that the image file is one of the PIQUO supported types and is within the size limitations.
- Reboot your computer, your modem, and your router. These devices sometimes contain internal memory that needs to be flushed to allow you to successfully upload new content.
- Make sure your account is not at the upper limit for disk space. If it is, you may not be able to upload any images until you delete some of the current images. There must be enough space in your account for the full image size of the new image
If you cannot resolve the situation, send an email to support@piquo.com, and provide additional information so that we can assist you. Be sure to include the exact steps you followed, any error messages you may see, and the operating system and Internet browser you are using.
Half of my uploaded image is grey
Half an image can occur when an image did not finish uploading or timed out midway through the upload. Delete the image and try uploading it again. Check your upload options to minimize image resizing.
The image is distorted after upload
There are a number of reasons why an image may appear distorted after it has been uploaded to your PIQUO account. Two of the most common are:
- The image is resized on upload. Resizing sometimes introduces distortion, pixilation, or fuzziness. We suggest you resize your content before you upload to maintain the highest quality and the desired display size. You can use any graphics program to resize.
- You or your Internet Provider may have an accelerator on your account which compresses images to allow you to upload faster. If you have an accelerator, disable it and try uploading the image again. If necessary, check the documentation from your Internet Provider or your accelerator program to determine how to modify settings.
